I use pH meters at work (not this brand though) and if you do buy it then make sure to get the calibration kit as well. It doesn't cost that much and without it you will have no idea if this thing is correct and it will be useless. Calibrate it often if you use it a lot.
Also I have learned that you must take the water sample out of the aquarium. I couldn't figure out what was going on with my readings until I realized the current was changing them. Stupid me.
I just got one of those. So far it seems pretty reliable. Make sure you get some calibration fluid and the storing fluid. You need two calibration fluids. 4.01 and either 7.01 or 10.01
