your granny only charges you like $300/month and you get almost $800 and you dont have any money saved?
 
I think I'm in the same range age as you, and I get it. But I'd never wanna leave my life right now. None of my family share my (fish) interest, but they still respect it and compliment my tanks all the time. If it's just the hobby that you're dealing with, man, you're lucky have big tanks and stuff. I only have a 10, but I'd rather have that than loose my family. And, where are you gonna get your money for? Your room mate isn't gonna give you your allowance, or supply you your food. It's much worse. Plus, if you dropped out, how are you gonna go get a job and support yourself and your family when you're older

Think about it. I've thought about leaving before, but I thought staying would have been a better choice. Dude, I'm you're age and understand it.

Do you not have a human resource office in your town? Go to them and you can get public housing(section 8) based off your income. You won't live in the best part of town but around it'll be cheap as all get out.

I've seen people living in them driving nicer cars then me because their rent less then 100 a month.
 
im gunna see if i canget on foodstmps first then houseing as the rent is cheap 300 a month for 1 bedroom 2 bedroom 400 so if they dont have no 1 bedroom im goin for 2 bedrooms anyways we figured some stuff out

rent-300 or 400 ( dependong on which one i get either 1 or 2 bedrooms )
elec- 80 at most ( they said they never seen elec over 100 yet )
food- 150 a month
internet- 60 a month
so thats 590 a month or if 2 bedrooms its 690 a month plus my daily needs like toothbrush-1.00 deoderate-3.00 shampoo-3.00 soap- 2.00 cigs- 6.00

so about 606 or 706 dollars a month with all that plus free water sewer garbage.

if i can get on foodstamps then that will save me an extra 150 a month..

so do u think i can make it? i do!
 
Section 8 isn't accepting applications in all areas, I know they aren't in mine. And i hear they have like a year-long wait when they are.

Some people just can't live at home though. I'm 21 and I'll barely be scraping by but I can't live in my house or I'll wind up in jail/mental hospital *again* because I'll do something stupid out of stress.

you can deduct the food costs if yuo're on food stamps, and take into account you'll be buying cigarettes more than one pack a month (I'm assuming). And are you sure internet will be $60/month? For plain verizon internet at my complex it's only $20
