has anyone ever ordered from these guys? i ordered last monday the 16th and paid over $15 for 2 day shipping. i called today because i havent seen my plants and he said they should be shipped monday because their shipments keep coming in late. shouldnt they post on the website if theyre running behind or something? i said it was okay but im a little upset that i pay that much for shipping and they dont even put my package together for a week. plus, it sounded like he was trying to come up with excuses so i'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them? at this point i am doubting i'll be a return customer even though they "promise this won't happen ever again." anyone use them regularly? was your experience the same?
 
try and ask for your money back and say the same thing you said here regarding about the "lack of information on their site".

They should refund the money if not maybe try bbb? I'm not sure how serious it is.
 
I have ordered from them two times in the past and had no issues. The least they could and should do for you is issue a refund or credit for the amount of difference in shipping....and if they can't ship till Monday, maybe they can throw in an extra plant of your choice?
 
all i wanted is a notification maybe? if they e-mailed me and said "look our shipments are late so we'll be shipping to you by next monday. we're sorry blah blah blah" i could live with that lol. i dont think thats asking too much but i think thats good business practice. ya know? ill give them a chance and see how my plants come in, if they're not what i want then i'm going to have quite a large problem with them and i'll let them know it lol.
 
Yeah, I've ordered twice. First order, no problems - they showed up two days later. Second order was on the same day you ordered, and no plants yet! I've sent them two emails, neither of which have gotten responses. I check my order status on their website daily, and it said processed one day, and processing the next! How weird. But, if they are having problems getting plants in, well, yeah, they could let us know. I REALLY am pleased with the first batch I got from them, so I'll give them a little more time.
 
It's a big place, I'm sure they're dealing with a high volume of orders. You really don't get personal service or even status updates when it's like that. If something went wrong and they're way behind, I'm sure they're not staffed for all the emails and phone calls they'd be getting on top of the regular flow. Imagine if they did send out update notices to every customer affected by some big shipping delay. All those customers would reply back to either complain about it, say it's fine they don't care, or ask a load of other questions that will then also need to be answered.
 
I asked 3 different question to them in the past 8 months and never once gotten a response from them.. SO I would never do business with them.

To busy to run a business isn't good for business
 
They never respond to e-mails, but calling them gets results. I've ordered stuff from them and never had any problems.
 
if you pay extra for express shipping there is NO excuse. Keep us posted on whether they refund the difference in shipping, if not then I will never order from them as im sure others wont either.

Snails shouldnt be a problem if you are treating the plants before you put them in the tank.
