These guys ( aquariumplants.com) will NEVER see a dime from me....... I placed my $ 150 order for plants on Sat. I contacted them today to see why I had not received a UPS tracking #. After being passed around on the telephone, a man came on the phone and told me that they were "out of stock" on 3 of the plants I had ordered, and could they substitute? I said OK, but asked why my plants had not been shipped (or why hadn't I been notified of the "out of stock" situation yesterday, since my order SPECIFICALLY stated that I needed it to ship 3/30 for delivery 4/01. I arranged to take that day off from work in order to get my plants set up in the tank. His rather short response was "We've been busy". I then tried to call his attention to their website, and I quote........
"We sincerely do want to hear from you, our valued customers...your purchasing experience is guaranteed to be a pleasant one.
If you have a problem with anything or you are not satisfied in any way, we will take care of the problem and do whatever it takes
to ensure that you are pleased enough with our company to do business with us over and over again...that's our promise and our commitment."
But before I could get the first word out of my mouth, HE HUNG UP ON ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called back immediately........ I asked him if he had hung up on me, or if we got disconnected due to a lousy cell phone........ He said........"No,I hung up on you........ I'll give you a full refund"
Understand, my tone was NOT confrontational, nor was I trying to have an altercation. I was merely trying to inquire as to my order........ I have NEVER been treated so rudely by a retailer in my life !!!!!!!
