So you just went and put a bunch of rotting leaves in your tank? you dont think that will affect water chemistry at all?

The leaves will actually lower the pH, and provide me with a nice substrate for the Angelfish. Doing water changes every other day, even though some ammonia and nitrates will be released during this change, I will be able to quickly take care of it. The leaves also simulate the Amazon, with the tea colored water and the substrate of decaying leaf litter.

Doesn't look like DW, are those willow branches?

They're actually Maple branches. Not DW, but they look like an Amazonian root system.... to me, at least.
