I think so too. Kind of cool to find stuff like this and not something that needs to be gotten rid of. It's on a rock that I need to break as it's too big. Hope I can split the rock and not damage the mushroom.

Well I have watermelon mushrooms I didnt want in my tank ...I had moved an old rock that was used as a base rock...I thought the mushrooms are dead and gone being in the dark and under loads of rocks for months.

I have that rock in a spot thats like a cave ...and I see big new watermelon shrooms showing! ugh...

I also have a chili coral but of course in the dark hidden in some spot cause I have not changed my rocks set up yet... I am going to buy 30 more lbs I think...I need more space to glue down frags.

I wish you were closer, I think I've got WAY more rock that I can put in my tank but the LFS wanted to get rid of it for more room so I took it and it's in a rubbermaid tub with water circulating and a heater. It's out side exposed to the elements. :)

Whoa, what is that in the second to last picture, the red sponge looking thing with the dots? Really cool looking.

BTW, that mushroom seems "cool" now.. but man are they the biggest PITA for me at this stage in my tank. Now I can't get rid of "hitchhiker" mushrooms and they are starting to hurt some of me precious SPS corals.

Yup that is a sponge, but it's not near as nice as when it arrived. I'll post a photo of how it looked when it came through FedEx. I'm hoping it pulls through.

So far I don't have the mushroom it in a tank, just a tub with water churning.

Actually, that is a type of colonial tunicate. Very cool stuff. Goniopora seems to be running strong. Someone just gave me a beautiful red specimen.

Indeed :). If I can get this Goni to do as well as the last one I had (lost in the crash after a couple of years :( ), I may try fragging it. It will depend. This one looks good though, since it had already started encrusting over some bare spots when I got it.

I think the color red might be cool if it's a real bright red. Now I'm looking for really bright, vibrant, neon blue corals. Those seem to be hard to come by.

I did put on hold a really nice Majestic Angel yesterday. And they've got a Yuma and several other nice corals holding for me. I told them they were going to start charging me tank and board for the critters they are holding for me. :D :D :D
