Are plants affected by water parameters?

I recently moved house, and while the water parameters did not change much, I have noticed that my plants are not doing as well as they were.

They are mostly low light plants, crypts, hygro, java fern/java moss, and (higher light I know) an Amazon sword. The hygro was growing like crazy, now its barely growing at all, same with fern's and moss. I changed a lightbulb, which could be the problem (I bought the tank used, came with some spare bulbs, a bulb went out, so I replaced with one that came with the tank, forgot to check what type but certain it was a zoo med plant bulb).

So, can water parameters affect plants? or can simply moving them affect them to some degree? I have also noticed slower growth in my 55G after moving, but this has started to pick up again.

Most likely shock from the move. Most plants go dormant for a period following stress from some change in the environment (think transplanting a tree, you do that in the winter while the plant is already dormant). Are plants affected by water parameters? Surely they are, or we would not add fertilizer and supplements. Just not in the same way fish are.

yeah, water parameters can affect plants. hornwort and wisteria i know will look awful for a week or two after putting them in a new tank. once settled though, most begin to grow like mad

Any time you uproot an established thriving plant to be transplanted someplace else, it's going to need a period of adjustment before it starts growing again. Then if any of the conditions are different, that transition is going to take even longer. The energy of the plant gets diverted to making these changes and that's going to show for a while.
