Its like Pavlov's Dog - abuse your brain enough and it will agree to anything

Why is it more expensive to over night a package one state away vs three states away?
 
because the driver has to stop at Mc Donalds.

3 guys rent a room for $30.
they each give the cashier $10 and go go to the room.
Cashier should have only charged $25 and decides to refund the additional $5
She thinks its to hard to divide that $5 by 3 guys, so she keeps $2 and gives each guy $1 Back.
So now, each guy paid only $9 for the room, and the cashier kept $2... But thats only $29 (9 X 3 = 27 +2 = 29)

Wheres the other $1?!?!
 
After much pondering I decided she gave it to the bell hop.

Simple because you are misdirecting us.. They actually only paid 25 bucks for the room and got three bucks back, for 28 bucks and the cashier kept 2 for a total of 30.
