It doesn't look like that great of a deal to me. Esspecially for one thats going to sit around unused for a while.

Something much better will come around while your waiting for a place to actually set one up. :)

Sigh, you are probably right. I won't be moving out for at least a year, and if I go on to Grad school like I'm planning right now, I wouldn't be able to set it up for who knows how long.

I should probably wait.
 
In business, there is this philosophy refered to as 'leaning'. Basically, keeping inventory that you don't immediately need or want will often cost you - wether financially, or by robbing you of other, more valuable opportunities. Keeping excess inventory (27 lbs of frozen bloodworms, or a 90 gal tank you might be able to use one day) should generally be avoided.
 
I've never had a salt water tank sit around for a long time without water in it and was just thinking..... Could the silicone sealant of the tank be negatively effected from the salt residuals with no water in there to keep it moist?
