Awesome, congrats  I sold my axolotl about a year ago and still regret it. Very cool creatures!

Update On The Babies

Thanks deutshe, I love my axies, hope yours has gone to a good home :)

UPDATE

Sorry about the bad quality pictures, I need to get a light for this tank.

They've grown full front legs now, Working on the back ones :)
I wish I could have better photos of the legs in detail.

Anyway, Here's some pics of the babies at the moment, photos taken about 10 minutes ago.

Thanks for reading :)

Hmm, I don't know actually, around 20-30 I'd say. Quite a few. They blend in with the gravel though, I wish I'd removed it before I put the eggs in but now I'm too scared to pick up a baby and kill it :(

So awesome! Congrats!

Update on Babies + Parents

UPDATE

This update is mostly on the parents tank.

Anyway, there's about 12ish babies, I hope they all survive.

Today, I got 9 White Cloud Mountain Minnows (Was meant to be 5, I paid no extra :)) for the parents tank. I don't think that the axies are really too interested in them, they white clouds tend to stay on the top of the tank, where as axolotls are bottom dwellers. So.. Just in case, since it is only the first night, I put 7 of the white clouds into a separating net and the other 2 are swimming about the tank. I will wait until the morning to see if the 'bait' are still alive. Hope so! But, my axies didn't let 2 algae eaters live very long..

Here's a photo!

The gold male axie is spying on the new 'live food' while 8 of the 9 white clouds get used to the tank.
