I've just recently bought a blue actinic light for my planted tank , I would like to keep it on 24 hours a day so at night it resembles moon light , so my question is ,will that be ok to leave on at night time and will this negatively effect my plants and fish?

(P.S.)I also have a normal light I keep on in the day time that is recommended to promote plant growth..

I know that plants need darkness for photosynthesis so iam hoping by keeping this on at night is not effecting the process..
