Bally's 40B

From that video she looks good. Normal swimming and pod hunting posture. I wonder if she just happened to engulf a large pod and she was choking? Are the spots still there?

Tank looks great BTW. The nem looks really happy!

I wouldn't put it past the little gal to have eaten a huge pod and kinda choked lol. She eats A LOT from what I've seen. (and she doesn't share, how rude!)

I'm glad that hush is ok, Bally :) your tank is looking wonderful! I'm glad to see nem perking back up today as well.

The spots are gone thankfully.
Maybe she did choke on something. My rock was covered in large pods when I got my corals back. Large enough to feel them crawling on me. Bleck

Mmm.. pod's the crunchy delight.. maybe got a chunk stuck in her teeth?

Well some updates. I officially lost the multi colored brain today, but found there was a little green mushroom and a Kenya tree on the bottom so I guess it wasn't a total loss....

I bought this frag today, I was told its a sun polyp but I'm not sure what kind. One of the gentlemen at the Salty Critter had taken a rock from his personal tank to the store for holding because he ran out of room in is 400 gal reef and needed to rearrange things.....I can't imagine how one would run out of room on a tank that size :nilly: but I digress..... He fragged a polyp for me for 15$ and I picked up a pocillipora frag for the same price. An ID on the mystery coral would be appreciated. I'll get better pictures when it decides to open :p

In this picture it looks like a large palythoa, but the colony didn't appear to grow as clustered as palys.

Also, if it helps at all he said to wash your hands after handling it, as it is poisonous.

That is possible, but I'm 90% certain it doesn't have the fringe tentacles.
