Barbs with shrimp?

Well, I got 3 barbs (don't know which kind) for my 20 gallon long, which has just been cycled 2 days ago. Can I put 20 RCS with the barbs and my one gourami? If so, should I add them In, maybe a week?

really need to know the barb u have cause some barbs are fin nippers an can be sometimes agressive an so can gouramis best thing u can do is find out bout each fish u have an see if they can live happily together

depends on how well the shrimp can hide...but you probably wouldnt be seeing much of them.

Aww ok, So I have one with my current stock what other fish could I get? Any inverts or bottom dwellers

How many tiger barbs do you currently have?

You don't have much room for anything else. I'd say maybe kuhli loaches for the bottom as they are out of the way but I'm not sure if they'd be harrassed by the barbs or not. If you get 8-10-12 tiger barbs they pretty much ignore other fish for the most part, but I dont think you have room for that many.
