while cleaning the tank, i put my frogs in a seperate container. i heard a strange squeaking noise, which grew to wha sounds like a small dog barking. so i look in the container and one frog is holding onto the other one and would not let go. the green one kept trying to get away but it wasnt able to.
any idea whats going on?

Yes, if the female laid eggs, you would definitely be able to see them. Frog eggs are generally 1/8" to 1/4" in diameter and are laid in a mass that may be as large as the female (once the eggs have had time to absorb some water into their jelly coats).

Do you know for a fact that they are male and female. From the second pic it looks like they are a pair (the female being the fatter on in front) but it could just be the way it is sitting. If they did happen to be two males what you are probably hearing is a release call by the one that is being grabbed. I addition to mating calls most frogs have this release call to let other "overly stimulated" males that they have in fact grabbed onto another male rather than a female. If yours is truly a pair it is most likely that the female simply isn't receptive yet.
