Behemoth planted tank

Well you can do a lot with a big enough tank. I am sure there is a setup where you could keep Discus with Dovii's.

Gorgeous:bling:
I am trying to convince my spousal unit that I need a tank like this:D

Oh and lookie there...Angels with Discus..and they said you shouldn't do this:lol2: ;)

I like Altums personally, I do not like Discus really.
Not a bunch of different colors etc, gaudy to me.
I like communities if natural lookign fish, a pack of wild discus and the Altums would look better, or just the altums and more Cardinals, Red color pencils, N espeii, Hatches, cories, etc.

But that's what my personal tanks are for, this is a client's.

I love that shot w/all the altums in the front. I'd have to agree that the natural look of the angels is more appealing than the discus, IMO.
I agree. Still looks awesome the way it is though.

It's simply amazing. I could stare into that tank for hours.

What's this plant?

Altums are my favorite but they are difficult to find.
I keep discus with a wild Scalare(Peru) in a planted 75.

that btw, is an awesome tank(great work)

I do prefer the more 'uniqueness' of wild Angels and Discus(also difficult and expensive)

I am looking at 1 125-150 planted with Discus and angels in the future.

I like the set up you have here and am learning more all the time.

Actually the 'Discus and Angel' has a lot of 'mis-information' about it regarding this mix.

having done this for years and talking with a Friend who has been raising discus with angels and used the mix for 30+ years.
I will admit tho that you need to watch this combination as there could be issues.
tho full sized discus can handle most full sized angels.
