Best Power filter out there?

Lookin for an exceptionally exceptional power filter to purchase for my extremely tall 37gal. Suggestions? Currently have a topfin 60 power filter on it.

You will get lots of opinions. I am a big fan of aqua clears as they are quiet and it is easy to custom configure different media for it. that is you aren't tied to replacing a cartridge every month or 2. i use a sponge and blue bonded filter pad material and just rinse them out every few weeks.

Would the aquaclear 70 suffice? I like the top fin because I can control the flow, but it leaks at the intake tube thing.

Alrighty. And for this particular tank set up I can't use a canister, unfortunately. It has no underneath to the stand, nor a place to put it so that's why I ask about a superb power filter.

I've owned many many HOB's, the best, hands down, are AC's.
