Betta or honey gouramis?

My betta gets along fine with my shrimp. The tank is heavily planted, though.

I have to qualify my vote. I went with the honeys, minnows, shrimp. BUT, lose the minnows. They are a cold water species and will not do as well in the tropical temps that the honeys and shrimp need. Also, it depends on the tank size.

Voted for the Honey's, however I'd swap the minnows for rasboras (harlequin, espei etc) for the contrast - maybe cherry barbs instead. As stated before, minnows prefer cooler water.

What do you mean by "minnows"...white clouds?

I'd go with the honeys and cherry barbs instead. Although it would be nice to have a tank size with current stock...
