Betta Pictures-Share them if you got them

MQ..BEAUTIFUL bettas ! When you're in the breeding business, mutts just won't do !

Mine are all mutts.....lol......I'm too cheap to special order and I don't breed them....anymore....lol...(once was enough for me !)

All the fish I have I pick up at lfs in my area. I havn't bought a new one in quite awhile and probably won't at this point. I'm all tanked out at present and am trying to downsize a bit on the numbers....so I can go for fewer but BIGGER tanks !!!

EMG- But it was the "mutts" that got us all hooked really :) There is nothing wrong with keeping veil tails, infact they tend to be pretty hardy and can enjoy a pretty long life...I have had a few in my time and loved them just as much as my more expensive strains :) They really do make a lovely pet regardless of their pricetag...One thing for sure, they all have interesting little personalities :)
 
MQ...sometimes I lucked out and found a CT or DT...even some double tails.....I really loved my copper DT...he was gorgeous and only cost me about 4$. I posted a pic of him back on the first page here. His name was Zorro because he had a black mask around his eyes. Cool fish !

Jax was my absolute favorite of all time Betta !! He's the bluemarble CT...what a fantastic find he was ! Again...only about 4$ !

Yep. The camera couldn't pick it up, but he has spots on his tail that you can only see when he is flaring and when the light is just so.
 
Marala- My little girl is wanting one colored just like your second picture! We saw them at our LFS and she just fell in love. She says that she wants one and wants to call it Strawberry Shortcake because the pinks and red make her think of well..Strawberry Shortcake! LOL. I talked myself out of it and decided that perhaps one more wouldn't hurt so of course when I went back to get him it was gone.

I joined the betta club a few weeks ago after years of saying I'll get one. It's all alone in a 20g but I've got three QTd otos that will join it at the weekend. I have to say they are very cool fish. Wish I'd got one sooner. No pics yet though.

TheMightyQueenPixie, the Turquoise Marble Butterfly is one of the nicest fish I've ever saw. For some reason it just catches my eye.
