the BGK will eat your tetras if you dont feed it ewnough.
if it gets enough food, iw will be fine with the tetras.

I have my bkg in a planted tank, I was forced to put in the three baby guppys that I found when I broke down my 25g. They've been there for weeks with 5 ottos too. I keep my bkg well fed and he doesn't bother chasing fish. I had a hard time to get him to eat raw shrimp bits. I think he recognizes the brine shrimp bits and bloodworm bits as his regular food source and hasn't developed a taste for live fish, or he's too lazy, relying on the easy food source that I provide.
I'm keeping watch on this, and if there is a problem he has a home waiting in someone else's tank. But I like him sooooooooooooo much!

Ahhhhhhhhhh.......you know you would end up sacrificing the gups and otos for the love of the serene BGK if he ever chose to snack up...Swimfins said:

LOL Nuriel, I think the ottos and gups will move back to the 25g when I redo it lol....I luv em all I'm afraid!
Is your new bkg just a lil guy? I saw some at my lf that were no bigger than 2 to 3 inches and I was tempted but....I dint!!!

Cute. Is he feeding ok? Some of them take awhile before they learn to feed.
Mine was only eating frozen bloodworm at first, now he eats stinky brine shrimp which he smells right away and comes out looking. I also drop in a cut up piece of cocktail shrimp which he only eats after the brine shrimp are gone.
