Thanks! It took a lot of work but I'm quite happy with it.

He's doing really well. He doesn't take crap from anyone. I know the mbuna have been picking on him though. He had half his tail missing a week ago. He's still small so we shall see. He's getting close to 3" now. I also made sure I didn't have ANY red or orange fish so he doesn't go pyscho on me later.

haha... I have the same tank... Is it the corner overflow or stand-pipe? I have been having trouble finding a good background, what are you using for the solid black?

Hey we do have the same tank!

Mine was drilled with the pipes for the sump. I don't have a sump so I plugged up the holes and removed the pipes. For a background I spray painted the back of the tank. It makes the black VERY dark and I love it. On my old tank I used black poster board but really it looked more gray.

what kind of paint do you use? i might consider trying paint on the back of my 10g

Krylon fusion. I had it since I was going to paint some decorations but decided not to. It took 3 coats to get a nice solid black.

Too late for my 72G but i could do it on my 10G QT...
