on their own, multies can be boring. every now and than i just sit down at my multi tank and home in on the fry and just watch how the group socializes with one another. but that is seldom. unless there is some sort of dither fish to make them feel comfortable to move away from the shell than they are quite boring. i love how they free swim my 55 due to the cyprichromis

Ok no one yell at me but I'm actually pretty disappointed with the multis. All they do is swim in one place near their shells unless it's feeding time. I've sat and watched them and they do little else. There has been some territorial displays and a little chasing if any of the other residents come near the shell pile. Otherwise they are pretty boring.
My disappointment with them is only this one: NO BREEDING YET!!!:angryfire:...:wall:...How can this happen to me?:shakehead:

have you considered adding medication to your waters? maybe your multies need some pills so "when the time is right, they can be ready" lol

You are right, Austin. One of these days I'm going to get crazier than what I usually am; and I'm going to add Cialis or something like that in the multies' tank.

I hope that too. If not, my male multies could be very soon in some kind of embarrassing situation! :evil_lol:
