Appreciate it! I changed the scape and moved the rocks back quite a bit to make a beach in the front. I seeded with bacteria and coralline algae today once salinity and temps stabilized at the right levels. I am thinking of temporarily adding some live rock from the other tank to speed up the cycling.

Anyone else balling with their reef? I just got a bunch of supplies and pumps from BRS and I am excited about getting it setup. From what I hear it is a lot better than calcium reactors but I would like to hear input from you guys.

Thanks! I haven't been able to update every step up to now (been busy with work) but here is it is:

The bean-animal drain (I modified it a little) is super quiet. The loudest part of the system is the Quietone pump!

Thanks! The tank is cycling nicely and hopefully I will be able to move the cleanup crew in here in a couple of weeks.

Wow - your rock is really cool! Awesome setup dude! Once I get my 29G going strong my next project I am looking for something like a 30G long or 40B - your 40B looks like the perfect size!

Ammonia is now at 0, waiting on nitrites to go to 0 so I can w/c out the nitrates. Getting closer!

I like your process of cleaning the rock, I wish I would have done that with mine. Hopefully it will keep the gha away.
