Great coral. Lots of movement and pretty hardy too. I bought a 3 polyp frag a little over a year ago and now it's bigger than a softball (center rear).

I actually like it better under the moonlights when it's retracted. I can see all the branches and the polyps look like pom poms.

They don't like direct flow. Just enough to sway the polyps back and forth. They also pack a strong sting and their sweeper tentacles can be fairly long. Keeping a good steady flow (again not direct) across it will help keep those sweepers close to home :)

good to know, i placed it in a spot with some pretty decent random flow, the branches sway back and forth i havent seen any of the sweeper tentacles yet that i can see

Sounds perfect. You stand a better chance of seeing them at night or if the FS gets too close to another coral. They also have a cool feeding response when you drop some food on the polyp :)

I feed mine mysis and brine shrimp

Reef is looking great, can't wait to see more pics :thm:

Mysis should do the trick. Give those zoas and plays a piece too. The venus fly trap effect :)

thanks for the info matt!

and for the 10 billionth time tonight...another photo update of the new additions

Awesome tank dude! I wish mine looked that cool. I cant give much advice on corals, just that they need good lights :), but i can appreciate a nice tank when i see one.
