building a moss wall for a 125 gallon tank

Awsome!! you would think the screen you used was to small ( hole wise) I can not wait to see this finished project. I just may do it to!!

Nice post! I hadn't heard of using fiberglass mesh. I've always seen threads about using plastic mesh from craft stores. Learn something everyday :)

If anyone has seen those plunger style food choppers (round base, you slam down on the top of the plunger and the "Z" blade turns a little after each hit), I think that would be the way to go instead of using scissors to cut the moss small. Then sprinkle the moss bits across the mesh.

Can't wait for the grown-in pics!

so today some moss is already coming through the mesh. i was told that fiberglass is plastic so i went for it. i know aluminum is bad news. i didnt blend it because i didnt want the moss so small it would fall to the bottom.
the fish in there are dalmation sailfin mollies. im actually selling them since the population exploded...i get a dozen fry every day.

Nice wall, thanks for sharing. Cant wait to update pics.

updates. so far, small pieces are going through it. i dont see any new growth yet.
