the other day i went down to my pond and, well what doya know, the bullfrogs had thousands of babies.i caught about 10 or so and am currently housing them in a glass jar. i will be releasing them after they become frogs but i like matching them change. will they eat my ground up fish food that i feed my endler fry? or do they need special food?

They will eat that, but they would rather prefer live bloodworms, they go nuts for that stuff. Except only after they have their back legs.

uh... bullfrog tadpoles get up to 8" and their heads alone are bigger than golf balls.

don't keep them in a jar.

I captured a bullfrog tadpole and I am raising it in my ten gallon. It is my impression that it may take up to 2 years. mine is as big as my blue ram. here is a pic of mine.... lets see some of yours.

Yup, two years for those little suckers... We used to get them as hitchhikers at the LFS I worked for. Such cute little pudge-faces.

yeah bullfrog tadpoles get pretty massive...you're going to need a large tank to keep them for a year or two.

They're not only big, they're crap factories. If you have a 10 gallon, you might keep one or two in that long-term, with frequent water changes; otherwise they're just going to die on you.
