i think they are bfs but im not sure bcuz they are already a good size but there are quite a few frogs down at where i got them the size of my thumbnail.

It wont exactly take 2 years for it to transform.I captured a bullfrog tadpole and I am raising it in my ten gallon. It is my impression that it may take up to 2 years. mine is as big as my blue ram. here is a pic of mine.... lets see some of yours.

if it is a bullfrog tadpole, then it will sure take close. well over an entire year.
and yes, bullfrog tadpoles DO grow in excess of 8".
nice observation! Spot on, how can you be so absolutely sure they are bulls?Kingearwig, that looks like a leoaprd frog tadpole to me.
