Man, a golden butterfly koi that size? I wouldn't bother mounting it or building a pond for it. I would sell that thing! Live of course.

What a shame he is not in some nice pond.

The article says that its possible the hurricane displaced it from a pond into the lake. I would say that could be feasible. If that is the case, and the previous owner of that fish see's this story, they are going to be very unhappy people.

And we wonder why....the fed governemnt wants to pass laws.....when stupid people put non native fish in lakes and streams and rivers it destroys the eco balance.

Granted I would prefer that they kept the fish alive and found a home for him....but it just ruins this hobby when idiots turn fish loose!

I doubt someone who owned such a valuable fish would just dump it in a nearby lake.
