Button Polyps?

I got some live rock today that has what appears to be button polyps. The LFS didn't have a name for them, but called them 'pest anemones'. I didn't see any on the rock when I got it, but they must have been retracted.

They look like the images I've found of button polyps, but with longer tentacle-y parts.

Should I get rid of them?
 
Up to you if you dont want to have coral, but I would let them grow since it doesnt hurt anything.
 
Are they coral? Or do you mean I should get rid of them if I want to have coral?

lol...I'm clueless about marine life, sorry. That's why I haven't intentionally added anything living except snails!
 
Can we get a pic??? If it is aptasia I would nuke it as it will cover your whole tank, look ugly and sting fish.
 
No, I don't think it is. I had one of those too, but I can't find it anymore. Can they move?

I will try to get a pic, but the lighting in here is so terrible that I may not get one until tomorrow.

...they look like a cross between the first two pictures. Maybe this will help...do buttons retract when you poke them?

It is manajo anemone. I am sure of it. I have the same thing, and was confused between glass anemone and button polyps for a long time, then I found the Manajo Anemone and there was no doubt. Kill them off FAST, with boiling water and joe's juice, cause I am fighting a loosing battle against them. They seem to reproduce faster then I can kill them.
