Buying a new tank?

Very nice scape. You may want to edge those off the side glass so you can scrape alage (unless that is the look you want).

Was the silicone you used 100% silicone with no added mold preventatives?

Yes its the Momentive RTV108 silicone everyone told me to get. I kept the rocks far enough from the glass this wand scraper i have can get behind them so i should be good there.

I need some quick help guys... i really can find much information on flow needs for 180 gallon tanks...

Bulkheads

Let me know if the bulk heads and overflow box are big enough and if the drill bit is the right size for those bulkheads.
What i really need to know is how many drains inside the overflow should i use and how many returns i should use? 2 drains and 2 returns? 2 drains one over the other incase one gets plugged and 1 return? i would like to make the order today. I have the RODI filter on the way i want to get this thing cycling!

I don't think i need the sump orprotein skimmer filter to get it cycling right? Im waiting until petco does the 1$ a gallon sale to get a 55 for the sump.

+1 for gl*******s, also if the tank is in its final spot where it'll be setup might want to consider painting the back or putting up some sort of background to keep out sunlight.

Glass holes kit is cool but i can buy the pieces separate and save about 20$. I purchased the 1800 GPH overflow box 2x 1.5" Bulkheads for drains with strainers. i plan to set one over the other that way as one plugs up the other will take over. Planning to use the drain box centered in the back of the tank. then i also purchased 2x .75" bulkheads to use as returns one on each end. then i purchased Lin-loc with splitters to make the 2 returns split in to 4 returns inside tank so i can play with flow a bit. The rodi filter is on its way aswell. Ive got alot done and still feel miles from being done!
