Can angelfish be with smaller fish and cherry shrmp?

Most likely the shrimp will be eaten, even if the Angels are well fed. I actually "conducted this experiment" already!

I would definitely put money on mr.cherry getting forcefully evicted from his shell

IT also depends on the personality of the fish. I have some swordtail fry swiming freely in my tank and the angel wont touch those.

I've recently put an angel in a planted tank with cherry shrimp. The angel went hunting for the little morsels. Didn't see it actually eat one but the shrimps definitely went into hiding. Transferred the angel out to a new tank and the shrimps came out of hiding.

Or I could put cherry shrimp into my other tank with my betta if my angel goes after the shrimp. But i'll try the angel with the shrimp first, if he goes after them.. i'm moving the shrimp to my 5 gallon.

I seen bettas with cherry shrimp before. I have plenty of hiding spots for the shrimp and my betta mostly stays to the top and middle.
