Why would anyone feed they fish Feeders anyway??

They have no nutritional value.. are cest pools for disease... Why risk that with anyfish no matter what you think of it. Better a balanced diet of pellets and freeze dried foods IMO.

If you're feeding predatory cichlids like guapotes, then it's ok if they're quaratined, as it has been proven that feeders are psychologically beneficial for predators.

However, those nasty little balloons come from midas and severum, neither of which are predatory, so I don't see feeders as necessary for them. Avoid them, as it does nothing for them. There are other foods they'd much prefer.

It's hard to find feeder fish more stupid than BP to be eaten.
AMEN;)

The only reason my BP has access to feeders is because I have a clown knife in the same tank. My clown knife will only eat feeders. If the clown knife wasn't in the tank the BP would never get feeders.
