can fantails and orandas be mixed? also do i have room for anymore goldfish?

Pea. Singular. I would give it a shot. See if she will eat it. Watch to see what comes out the other end. It sometimes can give you an indication of what's going on with the fish.

You could try to feed it to her. I hand feed my side layers all of the time. Any more activity?

I would consider removing the filter and doing manual water changes if she is in the tub. Keep the air stone in. This fish has NO other symptoms other than the side laying on the bottom and rapid breathing? No redness of fins, paleness or excessive redness of gills, nothing? Was her poop white, thin and stringy when she started having symptoms?

As to the hand feeding, put your hand in the water grasping the pea and see if she will nibble at it.

i put a pot in front of the filter so she cant get to it. she has red gills but i think thats just her look. shes had em since i had them ill attach a pic. her poop was orange and clear in places. (nls makes poo orange). now its brown and small like this (actual size) --- if its even poop. i will try hand feeding. these pics are from when she was healthy but gillls have remained the same color. the only other thing is see is shes lost her white color and gotten more of a murky color.
