Ok I read some of the posts onhere about the egs ,I see it takes 2 weeks it is a community tank I would love to keep the shrimp and babies but of course I do not have another tank I can go buy a 1 gallon and put the mother in .
Is it ok if I take some water right from the main tank and gravel and switch it? I have no idea what to do with the filtering of a 1 gallon ? What would I feed the shrimp babies? will I need to acclimate or can I just make a quick switch to the tank in and out?
advice needed

just leave her in there, some will make it as there so small and they will hide from the fish. to much stress on the shrimp to take her out and be on her own to me.

That sounds barbaric .My wife is saying NO way. But I am not a expert so I wil leave it.Shoudl I put anything in there or wil they just swim on there own how about a breeding net that hangs over the top
