I find it easier to use a large net as opposed to a small one you would think to be more appropriate. Because they dart, a large net allows them to dart right into the net accidentally.
Can guppies get "stuck" giving birth?

Well I got the stuck one off of her. I put her in the tank with the other fish and the poor thing was chased and eventually hid up behind the filter. I had to pull the stuck one out, very gently of course. She is now back in the breeder net. She has floating plants and a clump of java moss in the net with her.
I took her out of the net for good. No more babies after I pulled the one off and her gravid spot is completely red. She's active and eating so I think she's gonna be ok
