Can't find info on Crazy Crocodile

what is a silverside? is it a kinda of feeder fish???
Silversides are a SW fish related to sardines (i think). They should be available at your LFS.

Also, screw the tongs, don't waste your money. Just use chopsticks. Or just let it sink close to the fish. Or you could try the "tie it to a string" method. I recommend trying to get your fish to eat pellets as well. Soak the pellets in fish or shrimp juice and it might accept them. And crickets and earthworms are a great start as well.

yeah, buy quality feeders, live fish is risky game these days because they are treated literally like trash and usually just packed with diseases. I would be very wary of feeding him those minnow thatare dying off, they might be sick with something and then infect your crazy croc fish.

I've had 2 butis butis for over a year, they are fascinating. Get some live or fake plant cover and/or driftwood, and they will love it. Mine like krill and blood worms, aside from guppy feeders....that I raise. To get them to eat krill tie fishing line to it, or hold it in your fingers and jiggle it near them and they should take it. then after a while they will eat it if you drop it near them.

okay, my dad got me some raw shrimp from the local store. So i am going to try the fishing line idea. So, once he eats it a cuple of times, i should be able to just drop it in and he will eat it?

Maybe i will rig up my Lego motor to jiggle it :p
