OK, thanks for the info. I was reading that barbs are notorious fin nippers so they would be out, and I also read that mixing two labryrinth breathers was unlikely to succeed, and also I don't know whether my Betta will be aggressive to others...So I'm debating whether to just house the Betta separately so I have more options in the community tank. But it will be a while before I have to decide. Tank still isn't cycled yet...
