Charlotte, NC area fish stores??

I've gotten 2 clown loaches 6 harlaquins an 2 fire red gouromis from them all lived , the Cardinals they special ordered for me i took 4 , 2 lived they are hard to put into a tank ,i have found , none ever live from pet smart. An why the no stock, an special order on cardnials i asked , they said , CAUSE they die. And i have not gotten any thing i did not want in my tank from them either, as for petsmart there gouromis have intestenal dieases an parasites why the gouromis never live past 3 weeks, an there cardinals come with Ich, an normal, a site of dead fish in tanks is common.

That is why I ALWAYS premedicate new fish - unless I really know the LFS owner (Fish Pro's is the only one currently)

It is always a wise idea to give them a medicated bath before putting them in the new tank.

I only had 3 fish die on me and about to loose one of my eel's - he has a collapsed lung and refuses to eat.

I used to work at Aquamain's and personally that insults me, since leaving I have yet to find better customer service anywhere, their prices are a bit high, but they have a lot of time and money invested in these fish, all the saltwater fish are put into QT when they get there and in some cases they loose up to 50% while they are in QT due to the stress that the fish were shipped under. They are still a heck of a lot cheaper than a lot of places that I've been too

I emailed Aquamain in reference to a previous purchase and MUST SAY that I am 120% satisfied with the way they tend to customers!

Also; I have only been there two times - being as it is a couple hours round trip.

The service there REALLY is excellent. Even when they are over loaded with customers - the staff manage to touch bases with each person.

Last time I was there - we got in just as they were locking the doors.

let me say - I got EXCELLENT service then too!

I will probably be going there next Saturday!

I'll have to give it a try, what rate do you have live cured rock for if I am allowed to ask here? You can answer by PM if that is better for the mods. Oh...and just a little friendly tip, you need to move your site to paid hosting, the free one isn't adequate for a commercial site and it is doing all sorts of squirrely things to your layout and uasability.

Frank and Pegs is nice for customer service, but I havent gotten many fish that have made it. Fintastics is nice, but over priced and customer service SUCKS...I like going to Greensboro to Aquamain's, good selection and customer service. A bit further drive, but IMO well worth it

I did try Frank and Peg's out and liked Rance there. Everything he told me was matching what you all have said here and I upgraded by filter there for far less than Fintastic would have sold it to me for.

Got any unusual or rare FW stock?

how about used commercial tanks? like working 210 to 300 plus gallons?

I need a bigger (USED price range) tank at the very latest - by end of December and maybe by July/August.

Our freshwater stock isn't as impressive as our marine. What type of FW stock are you looking for? We generally go off of requests when dealing with FW. (So many types to carry)

We can offer you great prices for the tanks at wholesaler rates. If that beats used it depends. What size are you looking for..(IE 220g 2 overflow 650-700 prefecto)

I dont mind going out of my way to look into any type of request.
