Cheap sand for 75G BW tank?

no luck on the southdown play sand.

I been to HD, Lowes and online and haven't been able to find any Southdown sand, but I did found some Quicrete sand at Lowes. Anybody every hear of it? I'm going to keep looking. I have a month before I actually need the sand.

I have a question would the "glass beads" that they use for blasting work for a nice white sand. I just thought of this, it should act just like sand and you can get it in any grain size. I just might have to try it in a 10 gal tank

i had quickrete play sand in a tank for a while. it contains limestone, so it's going to do some ph buffering.

and one more thing, i don't know about you, but i certainly wouldn't want the bottom of my brackish tank to look like a carribean beach.

i'd give my vote to pool filter sand.

I have 3 dif kinds of sand in tanks in my room, I'll take pics of all three and let you choose between them in ONE WEEK
