Seems a waste...500 bucks to filter a 300 gal tank of low stock....
Also im curious, what do you consider low stock?

sorry, i missed that last question the first time. The eyes, from what i can tell, are pacu, an oscar, and a rtcxtsn hybrid. It is just a holding tank at the moment until the 4,000 gallon is finished. I have titanium heaters on their way so when I get them the fish and the sump will go in and on the 700 stock tank.Nice build.
The two pipes coming out of the bottom side of the tank what are they for?
Kicking filter. Your dad is a smart guy.
So what belongs to the sets of eyes I see in the tank?

Most definitely not what I would consider low stock myself. Even more so considering the size of the fish involved most definitely without a doubt are not low stock. Mayhap some people have low brow opinions of what high stock is but don't let that get to you it is not their problem if they are :screwy:.
Now considering that you stated at the outset of your thread that you were not satisfied with the filtration on this tank, I can see why. Even more so that you are going to put that on a 700g nice choice for a filter.
On my 8 ft 300g I am running about $800 of filtration. So I say  for thinking about the quality of life your fish are having in their tank.
One last thought for ya. Since the major issues with large fish in home aquaria is health issues related to poor water quality, I say bravo for making such a kick butt filter for them.
Would be very interesting to see what the members of monster fish keepers think of this. Have you posted a thread on this there?
