cherry shrimp breeding

I use Aquarium Pharmaceuticals copper test kits ...I dont have any for other metals.....I read on here that the iron test kits are a waste And they arent that accurate...SoI dont know about others.

How would copper potentially get into a tank? in the fertilizers? I'm just trying to think ahead to avoid the potentiality of killing everything

Ive read on here that People use ferts in there tanks with inverts and no probs ..It's a such a small amount and plants use it up, but i don't use ferts in mine i dont want to take the chance...Plus your water from the tap could have it in it..other people prolly have more on the subject this is just what i gathered from reading on here..

the tap, of course, that fiend! My tap water is really bad. Apparantly I live in the area that Erin Brockovich was about (Seriously).

How would I get the metals out of the water?

Back when I had me senegal I used RO water from a nearby water store. would there be a problem doing that again? Of course some of the other tank water will get into it when I kickstart the cycle with filter media but I imagine it would be fairly minimal

I found a copper remover on amazon that I'll get before I set up the tank.

Bang i got 10 point for something. Doozers were from Fraggle Rock? i loved em lol always doing something and building stuff.
