ok...just wanted to ask as i always interested in why people choose the tank inhabitants they do...inquisitive he he he he...

have to admit, all star fish are amazing..the colours and their habbits...Such a shame that we cant have any that we like in our tanks...

If you dot have any intention of corals...with extra hard work in the maintence routine, you "could" drop the protien skimmer....Also, against my usual advice, you could go for a small ammount of live rock and just buy a cannister filter..lighting can just be standard lighting ( which will be cheaper ), the rest of the stuff i mentioned you do really need for this little project to be successfull....
