cichlid compatability?

I wanted to ask this on here as well.

I was just asked by a family friend about compatible cichlids, so I need to ask the experts as I am not.

They want to try a blue acara, red shoulder sev, gold sev, blood parrot, and blue convict in their 135g, it's a 72x18x25. All are small, about 1in to 1 1/4 in right now.

Does sound interesting if it'll work.

Should be ok I think. Not sure if the convict will try mating with one of the other cichlids though cuz well those suckers eat poop and mate lol. But besides that should be alright.

That mix would likely be fine and adding them at that small of a size will increase the chances of it working out well.

Cons are really like that with breeding? I guess if I were to try a simular setup I'd have to forgo the convict.

Convicts would breed with plants and rocks if they could figure out how to do it.
