as long as they will eat mysis or brine, then they will survive, but youwere lucky to find one that does that.
your fish probably will take some time just to get used to the process of being cleaned, as well as not being skiddish of the new fish, and the other way around. my ocellaris clowns still wont let my two neon gobies clean them even though they have been in the tank for about 2-3 months. the neons try, but the clowns always jerk away unapprovingly.
also, if your other fish are captive bread, they may not even know how to do it. but even if they are wild caught, your cleaner wrasse may never clean.
i personaly believe that cleaner wrasses are one of the fish that is better off left where it is in the ocean. to my knowledge, no one has bread them yet, so each one is from the sea. and most will die in an aquarium because many refuse to take to prepared foods. By buying one, even one that does eat frozen foods, you are just supporting the demand for them so they will be imported more and more.
FYI: i believe the ones from the red sea have the worst reputation for not eating frozen foods as i have gathered.
PS; if youa re feeding frozen brine, make sure you are enriching it with something so they actualy get some nutrients in there
PPS: happy for a response? :dance2: lol
