In my aquarium I have several plastic plants that have a huge number of very small pin-like leaves or needles that are slowly turning brown.

I would like some advice on the best way to clean the algea off of them.

Bleaching? Boiling? Would bleach dull the colors? Would boiling melt them?

A friend of mine just threw her plastic plants through her dish washer with NO soaps, they are very CLEAN:) I will do it next time that I nee mine cleaned, just don't sani dry them or they may melt;):shake:

I run mine under hot water and while wearing a rubber glove rub the plant between your fingers. Takes a little while but works.

An old toothbrush is perfect if you have to scrub them. Even better the old head on an electric tooth brish will speed things up really nice.
