The glass difuser only works for about a day for me with my CO2, then there is not enough pressure to push the bubbles through it

It is the leaves of the plants that need CO2, the roots or both? Would it be worthwhile to consider injecting the CO2 into the substrate via my RUGF setup? I use pvc pipe with holes drilled into the bottom half of the pipe to let the water release.

well my co2 iy is a disaster,so'll save up some more money for a new co2.cause it spay every where,so dont use it

What kind of airstone have you tried using? The blue ones will not work. If you can find a Limestone wood airstone, these work fairly well. I had one when I used DIY C02, and the pores are so small the bubbles are about as big as with a glass diffuser. The bubbles also got much smaller from their exit to the surface, which means they were definately dissolving into the water. At most places the limewood airstones are about $3 for a 2-pack. Try it out and see what you think

lol. it really sounds like you need to post a picture of your set up.

here's a pic of one of mine...

you run a hose out of the co2 bottle into a gas seperator, and another hose from the gas seperator to your diffuser, be it a stone or a bubble ladder...

also important: you DON'T want to fill up your co2 bottle all the way, it needs room.

well.ok but im quiting diy co2.cause it really hard to maintain
so im going to save up money and just go buy one
