The only other thing I would add is that it's a really good idea to invest in a brass check valve. Plastic doesn't last and some of them don't even work at all. The last thing you'd want is water syphoning into your regulator.

The last time I made a semi-negative comment here, I got flamed for it so I'd rather not.
I do know 4 or 5 people currently using the Milwaukee unit with no complaints at all.

beviking - the answer is yes and not that long ago. But there are others as well.

For what it's worth, and where the thread started. I have used the Drs F&S regulator, solenoid, and needle valve (Azoo) for almost two years now without one problem. IMHO the Dr's F&S super deluxe auto (it dices, it chops) system is a little over the top in the bells and whistles department.

My recent experience with the JBJ has not been entirely good. I got one which I'm sure was defective--it ate up two 5lb c02 tanks in about three weeks. Given that it arrived with a bent meter. Figuring this was the issue, I returned it for a replacement, and this one did a bit better--1 5lb c02 tank in about 20 days. I am now considering whether or not to switch over to milwaukee.
One thing about the JBJ, which may not be specific to it: its needle valve is very finicky. I've spent a lot of time trying to get it to sit in one place, and even when it does, there's no guarantee that it will continue at the same rate the next day.

About the milwaukee ph controller. When I was deciding on a controller, I was looking and toiled for a long time at the milwaukee and the pinpoint. I did learn that the pinpoint has a secondary output which can be used for an air-pump incase the solinoid sticks open and keeps lowering the ph, a bit of insurance but thats just my opinion some people maybe content with less insurance. I know that the milwaukee controller dosn't have the secondary optput but the price is alot nicer. Once again I can only tell you that with my personal experience I have had no problems with my pinpoint ph controller.

Lemme just say that I learned the hard way that if you don't have a check valve, don't to try to re-fill the bubble counter unless you take the diffuser out of the water first
