I was at Big Al's yesterday and on a whim picked up some ghost shrimp for my desk tank. Current inhabitants are 2 angel fish, cherry shrimp, a couple endlers and 2 upsidedown catfish.
I wasn't sure how long it would take for them to become snacks, but for the cost of ghost shrimp I figured I would give it a shot. Looking at them today I realized they are not clear like the ghost shrimp I had in the past but in fact have a brown tint to them, with black/tan bands on their backs and what seem to be red bands on their antennae. DOn't get me wrong, they are still translucent, but have these markings. I know a pic would help but don't have my camera with me today. Thoughts?
