Converting to a planted tank

DAHHH!!!! Waiting for pics is killing me!
I had an asian theme going in my 45g. This is what I had in it:
Aponogeton ulvaceus
Aponogeton undulatus
Cryptocoryne crispatula "balansae"
Cryptocoryne parva
Cryptocoryne undulata
Hygrophila corymbosa
Hygrophila difformis
Java fern "Windelov" and regular Java Fern
Nymphaea stellata
Rotala rotundifolia

I had some anubias on a piece of driftwood at first, but it bothered me so much! It was the only plant that wasn't from Asia... I finally took it out, so I could finally focus on everything else in the tank. LOL

If you don't want to change your substrate (noticed you had a thread on that), you could always put the big plants/heavy feeders in unglazed clay pots with awesome plant substrate in it (I use potting soil topped with small gravel).

Anyway, good luck and for goodness sake POST PICS!!!!!! :D

I discovered some guppy fries today! Cheers to both of us!

Awesome! I found the 2 that were missing and put them in 2.5g. But I also found a bonus fry behind the filter and when it comes out I can't catch it, it's too fast! If I can't catch it I'll let nature run it's course.

I'm trying but my camera isn't working properly I tried uploading pics today but the pictures were layered on eachother(weird). I'm going to try again after the wife goes to bed.

As for those plants I'm going to check them out.

On a side note my wife right now just tells me I should've picked up a larger tank. Who would of known with all the recent statements of me being addicted to fish keeping. lol So now instead of buying another 20H I'm going to figure out if putting a 40 in my livingroom is possible.

Pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The PLASTIC FANTASTIC TANK. lol Water is a bit low since I took out about 2gal for the 2.5 where I put the fries. I also added the wood that I bought from agp. Excuse it if it's cloudy it's been like that since I moved around the old decorations. Hopefully it'll settle down and clear up. That position is temporary for the wood I just don't want it to dry out too much.
