Cories, Red Cherry Shrimp and Clown Loaches

Brackish Water

I didnt put a whole lot of salt in my tank and both species seemed to do well. I had it up and running with low light plants for almost 3 years until I moved away and had to break it down.

I have 3 x 2" clown loachs in with my 6 corys and have had no problems ,the only thing i would say is the clown loachs are greedy and get the sinking pellets first,but they are all still living side by side with no obvious signs of distress. I also had a snail problem ,my loachs wiped out the snail population in my tank in about 4 weeks. Cant comment on the shrimp ,but looking at everyone elses comments ,it might not be a good idea

For small loaches, i recommend the dwarves or posibly stratia or dario.
