Couple questions...

yeah it get's kinda weird when you're eating a kind of fish that you've owned in the past.

that I'll agree with however, I've never seen Black Ghost Knifes, Convicts, Firefish, or Neons on a menu before. :) and I've never owned a tuna or salmon. hehe. I loveee sushi.

Im eating shrimp right now. Unfortuantly my girlfriend isnt with me. lol. But I did put a piece in my aquarium earlier. I had to wrap the pantyhose around the suction cup on the thermometer to keep it from drifting around the tank. So hopefully when i get back i should have some Ammonia and Nitrite readings.

welcome back.

you say your readings are low... Are you having any readings? My ammonia never went above 0.75ppm I think.

Im not 100%. The test kits i got are the dip in kind and they hardly change colour when i follow the manufacturers procedure. Should i keep the shrimp in though?

Yeah, keep the shrimp in there. In the future, you'll probably want to buy the liquid tests. they are generally more reliable.

he has live rock yes.

well scince the LR was ''partially cured'' wouldn't that mean that there'd be some die off from whatever was on there and that the tank was cycling all along?
